How to give great feedback
Eterna is a delicate product — memories, grief, legacy. Your feedback shapes it. Two channels; use whichever fits.
1. Pinned preview comments
When you're viewing the app through the Lovable preview, toggle Comment mode from the toolbar (speech-bubble icon), then click any element. Your comment sticks to that exact button, image, or paragraph. Best for visual issues: alignment, wording, "this button should be here".
Preview comments are visible to the whole Eterna team and can be replied to and resolved.
2. In-app feedback widget
The blue bubble in the bottom-right of every page opens a structured form. Use it when you want to describe a flow, a bug you can reproduce, or an emotional reaction. You can also pin to element to attach your feedback to a specific component, or attach a screenshot.
You can review your own submissions any time at /my-feedback.
What we're listening for
- Bugs. Anything that errored, spun forever, or produced garbled output. Include what you clicked and what you saw.
- Usability. "I couldn't find X." "I didn't know I could Y." "I gave up."
- Wording. Copy that felt cold, clinical, salesy, or unclear.
- Broken links. Buttons that go nowhere, 404s, missing images.
- Emotional impact. What made you feel warmth, awe, sadness, discomfort, or "this crossed a line." This is the most valuable feedback we get.
- Feature requests. "I wish I could…"
Your privacy
We attach the current page URL, viewport size, and browser. We never attach passwords, session tokens, or the private content of a memorial — the widget sanitizes anything token-shaped before sending. Screenshots are uploaded to a private bucket and are only visible to the Eterna team.
